Hi I’m Steve Curtis and I am the founder of St. Pete Design! I’m a 47 year old entrepreneur happily married with a 12 year old daughter.
I’ve been designing websites since 1999. It’s something that has always interested me so I decided to start my own web design business.
I specialize in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS and WordPress. Did I mention WordPress? It is by far and away my favorite content management system (CMS). I feel that it is especially well suited for small business owners due to ease of use on the back end.
It’s been really amazing to see the way that the internet has changed our lives in the last 20 years or so. My 12 year old not only can use her computer at home to get to her favorite websites like Youtube and Netflix she can also use her phone to access games and even point out typos that I make on websites. 😉
They didn’t have anything like that when we were kids or even 20 somethings for that matter.
Who knows what kind of gadgets we’ll be using in the future. As the owner of a business I realize that we literally cannot afford to let technology and the internet get ahead of us in today’s business environment.
We have to embrace it and that’s why I want to help business owners just like you to improve your companies online presence.
